What is Satyaloka?

Satyaloka is a site I made to document the things I work on. As someone with a ton of hobbies that I often bounce between, it can feel like I don't make a lot of steady progress in advancing the goals I have as a digital creative.

I made this site as a way to provide updates on the things that I'm working on. Both for myself and for those curious about my projects, although I'm not sure how many there are of the latter quite yet. This blog won't aim to be objective (unless the content calls for it) as it is an inherently opinionated exploration of my own interests.

Really, what is "Satyaloka?"

Satya is a Sanskrit word roughly meaning truth.

Loka is a Sanksrit word that can mean dimension or abode.

When combined, the two terms are often used as the name for the domain or home of Brahma - the chief god of creation in the Hindu mythos. Creativity, to me, is the essence of humanity; imagination is the closest thing we have to divinity. I chose the name Satyaloka as an homage to the neglected creator. To exemplify those values which are sacred to me.
